Beyoncé Wears Gucci X Balenciaga
If anyone can get their hands on merchandise from The Hacker Project, it’s Beyoncé. She wore Gucci x Balenciaga to Jay Z’s intimate 52nd birthday dinner.
Beyoncé uploaded a series of pictures of the outfit, including a video of the pair sharing a loving kiss.
The singer slipped into the Gucci x Balenciaga hourglass crystalized jacket and matching pantaleggings for dinner with Jay-Z, those two pieces alone ringing up at $23,800.
The Hacker Project was a meeting of minds between Demna Gvasalia and Alessandro Michele.
If Gucci co-opted some of Balenciaga’s couture-esque silhouettes and designs, Balenciaga continues that trope by going big with its mashup of the GG monogram with double-B logos to create a one-of-a-kind crossbranded motif that appears on ready-to-wear, accessories and bags.
Beyoncé has recently announced her fourth collaboration with Adidas and her brand Ivy Park, named Halls of Ivy, and the promotional video featured a glimpse of Beyoncé’s daughters, Blue Ivy, 9 and Rumi, 4.
