‘Disney’ Actress Nikita Pearl Dies At 15 Four Years After Brian Tumour Diagnosis
Disney actress Nikita Pearl Waligwa has died at 15 years of age.
She battled through health issues since she was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2016, and recently sought treatment in India as local doctors were unable to facilitate the proper equipment.
A financial funding campaign was created to support Pearl and her family in seeking the proper treatment route, however, the campaign was sadly not enough.
The 15-year-old starred in Queen of Katwe, a Disney film, where she played the friend of the chess prodigy, Phiona Mutesi.
