Donald Trump Hits Out At Alec Baldwin’s ‘SNL’ Sketch Declaring National Emergency
President Donald Trump has expressed his dislike to Saturday Night Live‘s sketch.
Alec Baldwin played his usual Donald character — during the most recent sketch, Alec walks up to the microphone and begins mocking Donald over recent headlines.
He says, “You all see why I gotta fake this emergency, right? I have to because I want to… It’s really simple. We have a problem. Drugs are coming into this country through no wall… Wall works. Wall makes safe. You don’t have to be smart to understand that — in fact, it’s even easier to understand if you’re not that smart.”
Alec continues, “So, I’m gonna sign these papers for emergency, then I’ll immediately be sued, and the ruling will not go in my favour, and then end up in the Supreme Court, and then I’ll call buddy Kavanaugh, and I’ll say ‘It’s time to repay the Donny,’ and he’ll say, ‘New phone, who dis?’”.
Donald has expressed his feelings on Twitter, saying, “Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC! Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution? Likewise for many other shows? Very unfair and should be looked into. This is the real Collusion!” — and Donald wasn’t finished there, he furthered his comment by saying, “THE RIGGED AND CORRUPT MEDIA IS THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!”.
We’re sorry you feel that way, Donald.
