Jaxson Hayes Pleads No Contest To Resisting Arrest & False Imprisonment

New Orleans Pelicans center Jaxson Hayes has pleaded no contest to charges of resisting arrest and false imprisonment.
According to TMZ, Hayes faced a judge in L.A on Thursday and entered a no contest plea for charges of resisting arrest and false imprisonment.
The 21-year-old NBA star was also facing ten other charges, but the judge dismissed them.
Hayes was arrested in July last year after police offices responded to a report of a domestic dispute.
At the time, authorities said they wanted to speak with another person at the scene and ordered Hayes to remain outside, but he attempted to stop them from going inside the residence.
He was subsequently arrested for obstructing the officers.
Hayes will now be sentenced in June and he could face a fine, a jail sentence of up to 364 days or a combination of the two.
