Kanye West has been suspended from Instagram for twenty-four hours after using a racial slur in a post directed at talk show host, Trevor Noah.

According to TMZ, a spokesperson for Meta stated that the rapper’s temporary ban was handed out after he violated the company’s policy on hate speech, harassment and bullying.

West will be unable to post, comment, or privately message for the next twenty-four hours.

During a recent episode of The Daily Show, Noah expressed concern over the public “harassment” that Kim Kardashian was enduring from her ex-husband.

“What she’s going through is terrifying to watch,” said Noah. “What we’re seeing is one of the most powerful, one of the richest women in the world, unable to get her ex to stop texting her, to stop chasing her, to stop harassing her.”

In response to Noah’s comments, West took to Instagram to post a screenshot of Noah’s google search page under the caption: “All together now… K**n baya my lord k**n baya K**n baya my lord K**n baya Oooo’ lord K**n baya.”

Replying in the comments section, Noah wrote: “You’re an indelible part of my life Ye. Which is why it breaks my heart to see you like this.”

“I don’t care if you support Trump and I don’t care if you roast Pete. I do however care when I see you on a path that’s dangerously close to peril and pain.” He added, “Oh and as for K**n… clearly some people graduate but we still stupid.”

“Don’t ever forget, the biggest trick racists ever played on black people was teaching us to strip each other of our blackness whenever we disagree. Tricking us into dividing ourselves up into splinters so that we would never unite into a powerful rod.”
