Leonardo DiCaprio Blamed For Amazon Forest Fires By Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro

Leonardo DiCaprio has become the number one suspect in the Amazon forest fires. 

The Brazilian president, Jair Bolsonaro, has blamed DiCaprio for the devastating fires that are wiping out the Amazon.

On Friday, the president blamed the actor, claiming by the 45-year-old donates to nonprofit groups that contributed to the cause of the forest fires. He said, “DiCaprio is a cool guy, isn’t he? Giving money to set the Amazon on fire.”

Volunteer firefighters were arrested on Friday after law enforcement raided the headquarters of two nonprofit organisations in the state of Padra; they were accused for allegedly starting fires in the surrounding area. All volunteer firefighters are denying the accusations and were later released without charge.

Deforestation has been blamed by environmental groups that are pointing the finger at Bolsonaro, saying that he authorised the continuation of the forests destruction which has risen by 30 percent between.
