Liam Payne Splits From Fiancée Maya Henry

Liam Payne has ended his engagement to American model, Maya Henry.

The former couple had been together since 2019 and became engaged in August of 2020.

Appearing in a YouTube video for ‘The Diary Of A CEO‘, Payne confirmed the split.

“More than anything at this point, I’m more disappointed in myself for keeping on hurting people.” Payne admitted to host, Steve Bartlett. “That annoys me. I’ve just not been very good at relationships and I know what my pattern of things is with relationships at this point. I’m just not very good at them, so I just need to work on myself first before I put myself on to somebody else.”

“I feel that’s where I got to in my last relationship, I just wasn’t giving a very good version of me anymore, that I didn’t appreciate and I didn’t like being. I can honestly say I feel better out of it.” He explained.

The One Direction star went on to say that he believed this year had “forced something out of all of us”.

“For me it really forced me to look at my life and go ‘what the F are you doing? Grow up’.”

Previously, Liam Payne was in a relationship with Cheryl, of Girls Aloud. The pair share a son – Bear Grey Payne – but broke up in 2018.

Payne went on to wish Henry well, adding: “I hope she’s happy.”
