‘MasterChef Junior’ Ben Watkins Dies At 14 – Three Years After His Parents Died In A Tragic Murder-Suicide

MasterChef Junior Ben Watkins, who competed on the show, has sadly passed away at 14.
The young and aspiring television star was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, Angiomatoid Fibrous Histiocytoma.
Watkins battled with cancer after being diagnosed in September last year, and in a statement on a GoFundMe page from his grandmother and uncle, saying, “After losing both of his parents in September 2017, we have marvelled at Ben’s strength, courage and love for life.
He never, ever complained. Ben was and will always always be the strongest person we know. When Ben’s rare illness was shared with the world, he was so heartened by the outpouring of love he received from every corner of the globe – especially here in his hometown of Gary, Indiana.”
Furthering in the statement, “Ben suffered more than his share in his fourteen years on this Earth but we take solace in that his suffering is finally over, and in that, in the end, Ben knew he was loved by so many.”
In 2017, Ben sadly lost both of his parents following a tragic murder-suicide.
