Auli’i Cravalho Admits She Is Recognised By More Parents Than Children

Auli’i Cravalho has admitted that she is recognised more by parents than children.
The 19-year-old Moana actress opened up to People in a new interview, saying she is barely recognised by kids and more often than not, it’s the parents that identify who she is.
Cravalho said, “It’s really funny actually. A lot of parents recognise me as Moana and then kids will be like, ‘I’m sorry, do you see this girl? She does not look like her, and I’m like, ‘I get it. I really do. It’s a blow to my heart, but also I feel you, kid.’”
Wearing a face mask during her time in Los Angeles, people are spotting her less out in public, with Auli’i saying, “While I’m here, living in L.A., wearing a mask kind of keeps me protected in the grocery store and I can finally buy soup without a kid being like, ‘Are you Moana?’ And then I have to sing, ‘I am Moana.’ You know, it just makes the trip a little bit shorter,”
