Patrick Mahomes Autographed Card Sets New Record
PWCC Marketplace have revealed that a one of a kind Patrick Mahomes autographed card has set a new record selling for $4.3 million.
This now becoming the highest selling football card ever, overtaking the record set for the sale of a Tom Brady card which sold for $3.1 million.
The card that was sold was a 2017 Panini National Treasures Patrick Mahomes rookie autographed 1/1. The card also includes a cutout of the NFL shield from the jersey the player wore.
Speaking about the sale was both PWCC and the buyer LJ’s Card Shop. PWCC said that people see the Kansas City Chiefs player as the next Brady.
Mahomes has already won a Super Bowl and a MVP award at the age of 25 and the PWCC director of business development added “So, the sky’s the limit for him … and his card values.”
The buyer of the card LJ’s Card Shop said that the card is “truly a piece of art” and that their goal “has always been to build the best modern-day card collection,” said the buyer.
