R. Kelly: Arrest Warrant Issued After Failing To Show At Court

R. Kelly has landed in deeper water yesterday after he failed to appear in court. 

The disgraced singer failed to appear in court for his Thursday hearing in relation to his Minnesota sex crime case.

His hearing was set for 1:30 PM at the Hennepin County Court where he is facing two charges; engaging in prostitution with someone under the age of 18 and hiring/offering/agreeing to hire someone for sexual contact.

Federal authorities in the Northern District of Illinois are unwilling to allow prosecutors access to R. Kelly until his federal case has been resolved — leaving him in jail and unable to make court appearances.

A bench warrant was issued but Steven Greenberg, his attorney, told TMZ.com, “They never came to get him, wtf was he supposed to do, telepathically transport himself?”
