Warner Bros. Postpones Release Of ‘Operation Mincemeat’

Warner Bros has postponed the release of its upcoming picture, Operation Mincemeat, in response to rising cases of COVID-19.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film, originally intended to debut on January 14, will now be released on April 22 in the UK.
The decision was reportedly influenced by the new Omicron variant which has caused international alarm and resulted in the return of several social restrictions.
The film will be distributed by Netflix in the US and Latin America.
Helmed by John Madden, Operation Mincemeat focuses on the Allied effort in World War II to keep the invasion of Sicily a secret.
Colin Firth stars in the film, alongside Matthew Macfayden, Jason Isaacs, Penelope Wilton, Mark Gatiss and the late Paul Ritter.
