Jason appeared on season two of the reality show, 90 Day Fiancé, in 2014. He married Cássia Tavares – a Brazilian woman who had moved to the US to be with him.
The pair they separated in 2017 and filed for divorce a year later.

“It’s always sad when someone you spent a large part of your life with stops breathing,” she writes. “I guess one could never be prepared for that. I wasn’t, today.”
Cassia notes that she initially thought it was a joke.
“When I started receiving messages, I thought it was a joke. I’m shocked. My condolences to his family and friends.”
Rest in Peace, Jason.
