On Sunday, Damar Hamlin made his first appearance at a football stadium since suffering a life-threatening injury.
He was escorted by security to a private suite at Highmark Stadium, where he watched his team, the Buffalo Bills, take the field.
Despite trying to lay low, his presence generated excitement among the crowd. Damar even acknowledged the home crowd by throwing up a heart sign gesture from his suite.
The game was a rematch against the Bengals, the same team they were playing when Hamlin‘s injury occurred. The Bills were down by double digits, but with time left in the game, a comeback victory in Damar‘s presence would make for a memorable and meaningful moment.
