Robert Pattinson has revealed he tried to start a career in music with the money he earned from starring in Harry Potter.
The 35-year-old actor revealed in a new interview with GQ that he spent a lot of time living off his pay check from starring in the hit blockbuster movie, even pursing a career in music.
“I spent a lot of time living off the Harry Potter money,” he said.
“I don’t know where I had the kind of belief in that, because there was absolutely no one saying that there’s any kind of music career on the table.”
“But I was doing a lot of gigs all the time. I was just constantly doing open mics all the time, and then I ran out of money, basically,” he added.
Pattinson then went on to make millions starring as vampire Edward Culler in the Twilight franchise, alongside his ex-girlfriend Kristin Stewart.
