A$AP Rocky Arrested In Connection With Los Angeles Shooting

American rapper A$AP Rocky was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department on Wednesday at the LA airport. 

The arrest is in connection with a shooting that happened in November 2021.

Rocky was on his way back from a trip to Barbados with girlfriend Rihanna when he was detained and arrested for “assault with a deadly weapon.”

LAPD released a statement detailing the assault.

They claimed an “argument escalated and resulted in the suspect firing a handgun at the victim.”

It continued: “The victim sustained a minor injury from the incident and later sough medical treatment.

“Following the shooting, the suspect and two additional males fled the area on foot.”

According to LAPD via USA Today, Rocky was released later on Wednesday after posting a $550,000 bail.
