Alec Baldwin has said in a new interview that his acting career may be over after the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Speaking to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos in his first interview since the shooting on the set of Rust in October, Baldwin has said he no longer cares if his acting career is over.

“I couldn’t give a sh*t about my career anymore,” he said.

Baldwin also claimed that he never pulled the trigger on the gun, that killed Hutchins.

“The trigger wasn’t pulled. I didn’t pull the trigger. I would never point a gun at anyone and pull a trigger at them, never,” he said.

Commenting on his current mental state, the actor also said he struggles to make it though each day.

“I have dreams about this constantly now. I go through my day, and I make it through the day. Then I collapse at the end of the day. Emotionally, I collapse,” he said.
