Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez made a statement at the MET Gala by wearing a white strapless gown with slogan.
The 31-year-old congresswoman arrived on the red carpet with ”Tax the rich” on her gown.
Cortez took to Instagram and posted a picture of her and fashion designer Aurora James.
She announced the team who worked on the gown was formed of BIPOC/LGBTQ+ women.
