Sex And The City spinoff series And Just Like That has officially been renewed for its second season at HBO.
The future of the divisive reboot was confirmed by US streaming service HBO Max on Tuesday, with Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis all reprising their roles.
In a statement to Variety, showrunner Michael Patrick King said: “I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters — played by these powerful, amazing actors.”
“The fact is, we’re all thrilled. And Just like That … our Sex life is back.”
The first season of And Just Like That premiered in December and was the strongest debut of any series on HBO Max.
Parker also shared news of the second season renewal on Instagram, sharing a photo of the cast at the premiere last year.
