Andy Serkis Will Narrate ‘The Lord Of The Rings’ Audiobooks

Andy Serkis, the voice of famous character Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, is set to narrate a new audiobook series of the J.R.R Tolkien novels.
Last year, Serkis raised more than £300,000 He read the whole J.R.R Tolkein book The Hobbit out loud to viewers as part of a charity readathon during the first coronavirus lockdown.
The money he raised was shared between various NHS and children’s charities. It took the actor just under eleven hours to finish reading the book, and he was watched by over 650,000 people.

The Lord of the Rings was first published from 1954 to 1995 and has since gone on to become a classic in modern literature.
The three-part audiobook series will be released for download on September 16 and available on CD on October 14 for HarperCollins.
