Arnold Schwarzenegger And Maria Shriver’s Divorce Finally Finalised

A judge has officially terminated the marriage between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, ten years after their separation.

According to TMZ, the divorce became official as of Tuesday (December 28) after passing through the court system in LA. A judge reportedly signed off on the paperwork earlier this month.

The pair split over ten years ago following the exposure of Schwarzenegger’s affair with the family housekeeper. The relationship resulted in the Terminator star’s fifth child, Joseph Baena. He shares four more children with Shriver.

Despite the affair, the former couple has reportedly remained amicable for their children and felt a lack of urgency to make their divorce official. Additionally, it is understood that the settlement took time to arrange due to the value of the pair’s assets and complications relating to their property agreement.
