Aubrey Plaza Joins The Cast Of ‘The White Lotus’ Season 2

Aubrey Plaza is set to lead the cast of The White Lotus season 2.

The hit HBO anthology series follows a group of wealthy vacationers during their stay at the titular White Lotus resort in Hawaii. Helmed by creator Mike White, the second season will reportedly focus on a new group of holiday-goers at a new resort.

Though the upcoming season is touted to feature a host of new faces, White also confirmed that season 1 fan favourite Jennifer Coolidge will reprise her role as Tanya McQuoid.

Days earlier it was confirmed that Sopranos star Michael Imperioli had joined the show as Dominic Di Grasso – a man vacationing with his college-graduate son and father. Now, Deadline has also revealed that Plaza has been cast into the role of Harper Spiller – a married woman vacationing with her husband and his friends.

The 37-year-old actress is best known for starring as April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. Her other work includes roles in Black Bear, Ingrid Goes West, and the FX series, Legion. Plaza returns to screens in March, with the release of Guy Ritchie’s upcoming spy comedy film, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre.
