Autopsy Finds Brian Laundrie Died From A Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound

Brian Laundrie reportedly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
According to People, a family lawyer confirmed on Tuesday that Laundrie’s death was ruled a suicide.
“Chris and Roberta are still mourning the loss of their son and are hopeful that these findings bring closure to both families,” the lawyer, Steve Bertolino, said in a statement.
Laundrie was sought as a suspect in the murder of his fiancee, Gabby Petito, whose body was discovered in Wyoming Grand Teton national park. The 23-year-old subsequently went missing and his remains were discovered almost a month later in a Florida nature reserve.
An initial autopsy of his remains proved inconclusive, however, a forensic anthropologist has since declared Laundrie’s cause of death suicide.
The case of Petito has generated global attention, with many people outraged after a video surfaced of police interacting with the pair days before Petito’s murder.
They were responding to a physical altercation between the two and seemed to believe that Petito was the aggressor.
