Benedict Cumberbatch will be returning as Doctor Strange but rather than a standalone film, it’s for a crossover.
The 44-year-old has been signed onto the upcoming Spider-Man 3 film and will be entering into Tom Holland‘s universe as he reprises his role as Peter Parker.
Spider-Man 3 is slated for a December 2021 release but with the current COVID-19 pandemic, a likelihood of the date changing is high.
