Big Brother is set for a summer return, according to multiple sources.
The network behind the hit reality show, CBS, gave the go-ahead for the construction of the 22nd season house – with production preparation and crew members having to follow the current COVID-19 guidelines.
According to sources, the new Big Brother house is now being constructed on the CBS Radford lot in Los Angeles, with a date being unclear, but with a summer 2020 airing in mind.
All staff and crew that are supporting the build and development of the upcoming season are following COVID-19 guidelines, wearing the correct PPE equipment and regularly getting tested before entering the construction site and pre-production studio.
Currently, the approval from guilds and unions has to be sought in order for the show to happen this summer, which it hasn’t – on paper at least.
