Big Freedia Says Boosie Badazz “Isn’t Homophobic”

Boosie Badazz has recently come under fire for his alleged homophobic comments about Lil Nas X. Now another big name on the Atlanta scene, Big Freedia, has said he “isn’t homophobic he just has beef with Lil Nas X.”

According to TMZ, Big Freedia backs Boosie, and also attempts to explains away his behaviour.

Freedia’s definitely not as up in arms over Boosie’s language as others in the LGBTQ+ community. She seems to think he’s only directing those words at Lil Nas, despite his use of a homophobic slur and using his sexuality as an insult.

Part of Freedia’s evidence that Boosie’s problem is just with Lil Nas X and not the whole LGBTQ+ community is that in Boosie’s feature film, My Struggle, gay people are shown in a positive light.

She also suggested that the two meet, that way they can really bury the hatchet.
