Billie Eilish On The List Of Mispronounced Phrases By US Broadcasters

Billie Eilish’s name has been one of the words listed as mispronounced by US broadcaster in new study released.

In a study released by US Captioning Company, it is reported by The Guardian , the singer’s name especially her last name was one of the most mispronounced words in 2021.

In the article, a statement from a Babbel Live teacher which reads:

“As a language teacher, it’s always interesting to see that some of these terms are usually new colloquialisms, or are rooted or borrowed from another language.”

“As a non-native speaker, I must confess it’s fun to see English speakers stumbling a bit for a change.”
