BLACKPINK’s Rosé Covers ‘Slow Dancing In A Burning Room’
In an appearance on Korean TV, BLACKPINK’s Rosé has covered John Mayer‘s hit song ‘Slow Dancing In A Burning Room’.
Rosé performed the song on a new variety programme tilted ‘Sea Of Hope’. The programme sees Korean stars prepare meals for guests at a seaside venue where they also perform music.
The performance was held in front of a very small audience. Both a guitarist and keyboardist accompanied Rosé during the performance. The singer also held an acoustic guitar on her lap however she did not play it.
Other noticeable Korean artists SHINee’s Onew, AKMU’s Lee Su-hyun also starred in the new variety programme whilst actors Lee Dong-wook, Kim Go-eun, Lee Ji-ah, and singer-songwriter and Mystic Story CEO Yoon Jong-shin also made an appearance.
Towards the end of the song Onew, Lee Su-hyun and Yoon Jong-shin joined Rosé and provided backing vocals.
Back in March, Rosé released her first solo single album, titled ‘R’. NME magazine gave the album a four-star review saying “‘R’ her two-track solo debut, illuminates new sides of the Korean-Australian singer.”
