Brian May Hints At A Possible ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Sequel

Brian May has hinted at the possibility of a sequel to 2018s hit film ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and said that he is currently exploring ideas.
Speaking on Instagram Live, The Queen Guitarist said that the band is currently “looking at ideas” for a possible sequel to the Freddie Mercury biopic.
“We are looking at it. Yeah, we have been looking at ideas. It’s going to be hard to follow that one as none of us could have predicted how massive that was going to be,” he said.
Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ grossed over $900 million at the box office.
The film also earned actor Rami Malek who portrayed Mercury in the movie an Oscar for Best Actor.
Originally Sacha Baron Cohen was cast to play Mercury however early on in production he decided to leave the role due to creative differences.
The biopic ended with Queen’s historic performance at Live Aid in 1984. Therefore, a possible sequel could perhaps explore the events leading up to Mercury’s death in November 1991.
