Britney Spears Taking A Break From Social Media

Britney Spears has revealed that she plans to take a break from social media to celebrate her recent engagement. 

The singer caused worry among her fans yesterday September 13, after she deactivated her Instagram account without any prior warning.

Adding to concern was the fact that Spears last post on Instagram was one where she thanked the #FreeBritney movement.

However, Spears has now confirmed that she decided to deactivate her Instagram because she needed a break from social media.

“Don’t worry folks. Just taking a little break from social media to celebrate my engagement. I’ll be back soon,” she said in a tweet on Twitter.

Spears’ lawyer Mathew Rosengart also confirmed the singers plans to step away from the social media platform saying “it was her decision”.
