The NBA have issued The Brooklyn Nets with a $50,000 fine after they allowed Kyrie Irving into the team’s locker room.

Irving is unable to play home games for the Nets as a result of him being unvaccinated against Covid-19.

But going into the team’s locker room after the game broke New York City – and the NBA’s – health and safety protocols.

NBA insider Shams Charania said: “The Brooklyn Nets organization has been fined $50,000 for violating local New York City law and league health and safety protocols against the New York Knicks at Barclays Center for allowing Kyrie Irving to enter the team’s locker room.”

Until local law changes, or Irving gets vaccinated, he will not be allowed to play home games or enter the locker rooms.
