Cardi B Celebrates ‘Bodak Yellow’ Music Video Reaching One Billion Views

Cardi B has celebrated after her music video for 2017 single ‘Bodak Yellow’ surpassed one billion views on YouTube.
Initially released in 2017, the music video managed to reach one billion views on the video sharing platform on Monday, August 2.
Cardi famously revealed that the music video for the track only cost her $15,000 to make which she filmed in Dubai.
The rapper also revealed back in 2018 that she was attacked by a cheetah on set whilst filming the music video.
In a post on Twitter celebrating the news Cardi tweeted: “15 thousand dollars, a billion views later!!!!! Wow that’s crazy! Super dope.”
“Thank you all for all the support throughout the years… Back to the lab. Love & appreciate y’all,” she added.

Earlier this year Cardi also became the first female rapper to achieve a diamond single award after ‘Bodak Yellow’ surpassed 10 million sales in the US.
