Cardi B Wants $1 Million Lawsuit Dismissing From Court

Cardi B has demanded a $1 million lawsuit that accuses her of causing a blogger to receive gang-threats to be thrown out of court. 

According to legal documentation, seen by unCrazed, she has asked the court to completely dismiss the case that was filed by Latasha K. — an entertainment blogger — saying the lawsuit is nothing more than “a transparent attempt to garner media attention and retaliate against” her.

In her claim, the I Like It rapper says she never defamed the blogger publicly when labelling her a “hoe” or “dumb a** b****” and simply put it down to name-calling. She denies all wrongdoing and wants the lawsuit dismissed immediately.

Cardi does, however, want her lawsuit against the blogger to continue after she sued Latasha and Starmine Ebony Jones for defaming by calling her a prostitute and claiming she had herpes.

The 26-year-old took issue with multiple things that Latasha posted, particularly about her baby, Kulture. Cardi claims that Starmine made accusations that Cardi took drugs, mentioning cocaine and molly.

In her lawsuit, the Teen Choice Award for Choice R&B/Hip-Hop Artist winner sued them for defamation; wanting an injunction ordering the videos to be taken offline and sought unspecified damages.

Latasha K counter-sued, demanding $1 million in damages and accused Money rapper of causing her to receive threats. According to Latasha, who holds a string of successful online blogs and social media accounts, claims after a video about Cardi was published, that the rapper contacted her privately and requested to remove the video.

The blogger further offered her to do an interview where they could discuss the issues but that offer was declined and says the Bodak Yellow rapper “began to publicly defame Ms. Kebe, referring to her as “this blogger lady”, by stating that Ms. Kebe makes up fake stories; harasses all of Cardi B’s friends; constantly stalks Cardi B; falsely claims that she has legitimate sources giving her information about Cardi B; uses Cardi B’s name for “click bait”; and many other false accusations.”
