The live took place in Cardi’s house, and lasted thirteen minutes.
“Everything be looking so glamorous, you see my fucking Instagram and everything, but it’s been really… it’s been a lot. Trying to balance out my new motherf***ing life, like I got two kids, my daughter’s going to school now, and I have a lot of jobs now.”
“I’m in a lot of positions that require a lot of my time,” she adds. “And on top of that, I gotta put out this album next year. Not only do I got to put out an album, but I gotta record a movie. I’ve got to do so much sh**, y’all.”
This comes the day after Cardi officially earned her third diamond certified single, which makes her the first female rapper to ever do this and tying her at the top spot with Katy Perry as the only two women to ever achieve this feat.
Cardi posted an emotional Instagram thanking her fans.
Cardi wrote “Wow I’m sooo happy ??☺️! My album came out in 2018 and it’s still breaking records. I have a solo ? record, a feature ? record and now ANOTHER ? record from a collab with 2 people that I look up to and love so much, @jbalvin & @badbunnypr ?”
