Celebrity-Targeting Hackers Release Information On LeBron, Bad Boy & Nicki Minaj

A celebrity-targeting hacking group has returned to the Dark Web after disappearing, calling themselves REvil.
The group once appeared online to release information on some of Hollywood’s most influential stars before disappearing – with their return, new alleged ‘dirt’ has been added to a Dark Web auction starting at $600,000.
Information that is ready to be released includes details on Mariah Carey, LeBron James, Nicki Minaj, Diddy and many others. According to the group, secret files on MTV and Universal has been prepared for release with a fee of $1 million… starting fee that is.
A ransom demand from the same hacking organisation, believes to be in Eastern Europe, was dished out to law firm Grubman, Shire, Meiselas & Sacks, that handles some of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry. In response to the $42 million ransom, Grubman said they would refuse to offer any payment for the alleged stolen information.
They explained, “The most recent post is yet another desperate nuisance tactic these criminals are using to try to squeeze out a profit from stolen data. Our clients and the entertainment industry as a whole have overwhelmingly applauded the firm’s position that we will not give in to extortion.”
