Charli XCX Announces New Single ‘Good Ones’ Arriving In September

Charli XCX has announced that she will release a new single next month titled ‘Good Ones’.

The singer made the announcement on her social media on August 2 whilst celebrating her birthday.

Charli revealed that the song will release on September 2 and gave fans a look at the tracks 80s-inspired artwork. She also teased the lyrics to the track as she told her fans to “get ready to surrender”.

‘Good Ones’ will be Charli’s first new solo material since the release of her fourth studio album ‘How I’m Felling Now‘.

The singer produced the album last year during quarantine at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier this year, Charli joked in a post on her Instagram that her next album would be more mainstream.

“Ok guys… much needed mainstream album coming soon I promise,” the singer wrote.  

The joke came after a contestant on TV gameshow The Chase incorrectly guessed her name as “Charli SFX”.
