Chris Rock has briefly addressed the assault that he was victim of when Will Smith slapped him in the face at the Oscars on Sunday.

The 57-year-old comedian and Grown Ups actor performed at the Boston Wilbur Theater where he addressed the incident before starting the show.

He said, “I don’t have a bunch of s*** about what happened, so if you came to hear that, I have a whole show I wrote before this weekend. I’m still kind of processing what happened. So, at some point, I’ll talk about that s***. And it will be serious and funny.”

Rumours were circulating that Rock had spoke with Smith since the ordeal, however it has been confirmed by Chris that he hasn’t “talked to anyone, despite what you heard.” making it clear that no conversations between the two actors have taken place.
