Christina Applegate Diagnosed With Multiple Sclerosis

Christina Applegate reveals she has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis – a chronic disease affecting the nervous system.
The 49-year-old actress shared the news on Twitter.
“Hi friends. A few months ago I was diagnosed with MS. It’s been a strange journey.” She wrote. “But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition. It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some a****** blocks it.”

According to the NHS, multiple sclerosis is a lifelong condition which affects the brain and spinal cord. It can cause problems with movement in the limbs, vision impairment and imbalance.
Applegate is famous for her roles in the likes of Anchorman and Bad Moms. Most recently she has starred in the Netflix show, Dead To Me. She made her acting debut in 1972 with the soap, Days of Our Lives.
In 2008 Applegate was diagnosed with a genetic variant of breast cancer. After a double mastectomy she was announced cancer free.
