Christopher Meloni Spotted Moments After Fatal ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Shooting

Christopher Meloni has been spotted on the Law & Order: Organized Crime set moments after a crew member was fatally shot. 

The 61-year-old actor was on set after the incident occurred outside of the sets production area that saw a 31-year-old crew member, who was in charge of parking enforcement, shot whilst he sat in his vehicle.

The murder took place around 5.15am in Brooklyn, with the New York Police Department describing the incident as an ambush attack. The male victim was a father of three, and was taken to Woodhull Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

In a statement by NBC, given to EW, the studio company said, “We were terribly saddened and shocked to hear that one of our crew members was the victim of a crime early this morning and has died as a result,” continuing, “We are working with local law enforcement as they continue to investigate. Our hearts go out to his family and friends and we ask that you respect their privacy during this time.”
