Coldplay Reveal When They Will Stop Making New Albums

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has suggested that the band could stop making new music after the release of their 12th album.
In a new interview speaking to Absolute Radio’s Andy Bush, Martin revealed that the band have already laid out plans to eventually stop making new albums.
“I think that in a few albums’ time, we will finish making albums. This is not a joke. This is true,” he said.
“I think after 12, that will be the end of our catalogue, but I think we will always want to play live together,” he added.
Coldplay, first formed in 1996, have released eight albums over the years, with their ninth album Music Of The Spheres set for release tomorrow, Friday, October 15.
The band will also be performing tracks from their new album in a week-long music residency on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Read more about this story here.
