Comedian Andy Dick Arrested For Alleged Assault With A Deadly Weapon

Comedian Andy Dick was arrested over the weekend for assaulting a man with a deadly weapon in LA.

The Los Angeles Police Department informed Us Weekly that the comedian was arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon on Saturday. He was released on Tuesday after posting the $50,000 bond.

In a statement to Page Six, Dick claimed the man he’d assaulted was his former lover, Lucas Crawford. The comedian also said he’d been badly injured by Crawford.

“He body-slammed my leg.” Said Dick. “My femur got broken and my ankle got shattered and the tendons and ligaments on the other side are ripped off the bone.”

Dick’s girlfriend, Elisa Jordana addressed his arrest on her YouTube show ‘Kermit and Friends‘.

“It was the worst week with him.” Said Jordana. “It was getting worse and worse and worse and just everyday there was some kind of problem. There were signs that this was going to happen.”

“The night he went to jail, we went out,” She went on. “He was in rare form that night – he was really bad. He stole cutlery, he stole some wine glasses, he stole plates, he asked for a doggy bag that he could put all that in.”

Jordana added that Dick had assaulted Lucas with “a metal chair”.

“I saw pictures, I saw videos.” She said. “It’s not good. And it was just going in a very bad direction.”

Andy Dick has faced several legal battles in relation to inappropriate behaviour, drug abuse and assault. In 2017 he was fired from the film ‘Raising Buchanan‘ after allegations of inappropriate sexual behaviour. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this included “groping people’s genitals” and “unwanted kissing/licking.”
