Comme Des Garçons’ Collaboration With Nike Revealed

Japanese label Comme des Garçons has revealed its latest collaboration with sportswear giant Nike.
The two brands collaborating to recreate the Air Foamposite One, for the nostalgia.
The shoe initially debuted in Tokyo on the Comme des Garçons runway for its AW21 line.
The Air Foamposite model was first debuted in 1997, and it’s latest reincarnation will be available in two styles.
According to Complex, the shoe was initially a “real performance model.”
“You were either a serious baller or you were a serious drug dealer. I mean, no one else was running around with Foams around me,” said Bajun Riddick, the store director at Comme des Garçons Chelsea in New York.
“And even the kids who were serious ballers never wore them in the street.”
The shoes will allegedly retail for $520.
They are launching exclusively at Comme des Garçons and Dover Street Market stores globally, on November 5 after which they will be available at Comme des Garçons wholesale locations.
