Conor McGregor Mourns The Death Of His “Closest Companion”
Conor McGregor is “so heartbroken” after his dog Hugo has sadly passed away.
The professional mixed martial artist broke the news to his Instagram followers by posting a tribute to his late dog.
He shared a series of images of him and his “closest companion” throughout the years.
“So heart broken to say my dog Hugo has passed away. He was with me all the way, my closest companion.”

“From sleeping on a bed frame without a mattress to everything else that came after. Thank you for all the work put in alongside me to get this life correct for our family.”
The pictures show the bond that Conor and his beloved dog shared.
“All the love and cuddles we will miss forever and ever our Hugo!”
In a following post, McGregor shared a short video of the dog basking in the sunshine.
“We got there in the end my boy”, he writes.
