After much speculation about who would be taking over as the new Tottenham Hotspur manager after Nuno Espirito Santo‘s departure, the spotlight has been placed on the former Chelsea FC manager, Antonio Conte.
Tottenham‘s Chairman, Daniel Levy and Managing Director, Fabio Taratici held talks with Conte on Monday. The contact would keep the Italian at the club until June 2023.
However, at this time no official agreement has come to fruition.
Conte‘s last stint in the Premier League was with Chelsea back in 2016 until 2018. In that time, Conte won Chelsea the Premier League and the FA Cup so Spurs fans can look forward to some potential silverware if Conte signs.
Since Conte’s departure from Chelsea FC in 2018, he has guided Inter Milan to a Series A title before leaving the club in May of 2021.
