Friends stars Matthew Perry and Courteney Cox go on a lunch date.

The co-stars went on a dinner date together — as friends — and gave us an insight into their friendship.

Sharing the surprising news on social media, Cox uploaded a photo of the pair with the caption, “Guess who I had lunch with today. I KNOW … Could I BE any happier? #realfriends.”

Other co-stars from the sit-com pitched in and commented, with Lisa Kudrow saying, “Lucky lucky. #beautifulpeople.” and Jennifer Aniston said, “MATTY!! I LOVE YOU, GUYS.”

Recently, Aniston teased Friends fans with an insight into an even bigger dinner date that started rumours of a genuine Friends reunion reboot or even continuation after she joined Instagram and shared a photo of the entire original cast together.

She captioned it, “And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM.” and quickly became the fastest growing Instagram account to date, with the post receiving almost 15 million likes since it was uploaded last week.
