‘Star Wars’ Actress Daisy Ridley Opens Up About Why She Won’t Discuss Private Life

Daisy Ridley has revealed why she doesn’t wish to go into detail about her private life.

The 28-year-old Star Wars actress has explained why she wishes to keep her private life just that – private – as she reveals the reason for remaining off social media.

During an interview with Tatler, Ridley explained, “I don’t know. What I do know is that when I signed on to Star Wars, there was nothing in my contract that said, ‘Your life will be talked about,’ It got to the point where I realised so much of my life was out there.

People knew my mum’s name, my dad’s name, what my sisters do for a living. And I thought it would be nice to have something that’s for me, that isn’t for everybody else. I just thought I would keep that separate.”

Rumours began circulating last year that Daisy tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Tom Bateman, who she co-stars with in Murder on the Orient Express, however this has never been formally confirmed by the couple.
