Sammy Kimmence has been sentenced to 42 months in prison for defrauding two pensioners of more than £34,000.

Kimmence, who is dating influencer Dani Dyer, had told the two pensioners that he was investing their money in horse racing. He had actually used the money to fund his expensive lifestyle.

One victim, Peter Martin died in November at the age of 91. The second victim Peter Haynes, 81, served in the RAF and suffers from Alzheimer’s.

The 25-year-old pleaded guilty after initially denying the charges.

“This was a very unpleasant fraud against two men who Mr Kimmence deliberately targeted.” Said Prosecutor Mike Mason, according to a report by the Liverpool Echo. “He targeted them because they were old, they were vulnerable and somewhat isolated. This wasn’t something he migrated into from a friendship. This was something he planned.”

Judge Timothy Mousley said during sentencing that he did “not consider any remorse to be profound”. He labelled Kemmence’s actions an “abuse of trust”.

Dani Dyer and Sammy Kimmence share a son, Santiago, born on January 23. Dyer, with over 3.4 million followers on Instagram, has been dating Kimmence since the disintegration of her romance with fellow Love Islander, Jack Fincham.
