A fake Twitter account claimed that Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe had been tested positive for Coronavirus.
The Twitter account which links back to an old BBC.co.uk page with the handle @BBCNewsTonight stated, “BREAKING: Daniel Radcliffe tests positive for coronavirus.”
The account continued, “The actor is said to be the first famous person to be publicly confirmed,”

However, representatives for the 30-year-old star assured the New York Post that this wasn’t true.
The original tweet which had more than 1000 likes has been taken down — the handle itself has been suspended by the social media giant.
In James O’Brien’s podcast Full Disclosure this week, Radcliffe was healthy enough to discuss how little of his fortune he spent.
“I don’t do a huge amount with my money… Man, I’m really bad at being famous.”
