David Leitch’s upcoming action movie is now being delayed until summer 2022.

The film, directed by Leitch, stars Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock. It was set to release in April 2022, report Hypebeast.

Based on the Japanese novel by Kotaro Isaka, the film follows five assassins who are assigned missions on the same bullet train. All five will have to fight against each other to obtain a suitcase full of money, making it to the final stop of the journey.

“Brad did 95% of his physical stunts — the fighting,” said the film’s second-unit director and coordinator.

“He’s like a natural-born athlete. He really got in there!… Never have I ever done so many huge actors in one feature where all of them excelled at the physical movement of our training.”

No reason has been given for the delay of the release, but it can now be expected to hit cinemas July 15, 2022.
