Discussions For ‘Squid Game’ Season 3 Already Underway

The creator of the hit Netflix series Squid Game has revealed that he is in talks with the streamer over a possible third season.

A second season of the internationally acclaimed show has already been confirmed, but now creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has admitted that he is already discussing a third instalment.

Through a translation provided by the Korean Times, Hwang told Korean broadcaster KBS: “I’m in talks with Netflix over season 2 as well as season 3. We will come to a conclusion any time soon.”

Squid Game made its debut on September 17 and was welcomed by global praise, rising to become the number one most-watched show in 90 countries.

The show follows Gi-hun, a down on his luck father who is coerced to contend with 458 others in a series of deadly children’s games – all in the hopes of winning the $38 million prize money.
